There are few people that have worked with computers as long as Eric Pulier, and there are even fewer that also have his level of passion for technological innovation. His passion for computers goes all the way back to his childhood. During his elementary school years, Pulier was programming computers. His skills as a programmer became more advanced throughout his school years, and by the time he was in high school, he already was self employed in the field.
However, he had a slightly different type of education as an English and literature major at Harvard. However, he continued to pursue his passion for technological innovation by taking classes at the Massachusetts Institute for Technology, during the time he was enrolled at Harvard. He exhibited academic excellence at both schools, and he even graduated magna cum laude at Harvard.
New innovations can help to provide the public with higher quality services, such as healthcare and education. Eric Pulier has been at the forefront of providing businesses with access to high tech innovation. He has had many high tech enterprises, such as People Doing Things, Digital Evolution, and Akana. Numerous businesses in multiple sectors have benefited from these services.
He also is well known for his writing. He is one of the writers of a book about service oriented oriented architecture, called Enterprise SOA. Many business owners have read this book and gained important knowledge from it.
In addition to these endeavors, he is a philanthropist that has made sizable donations. While he donates to a number of organizations, he also is involved on several organizations’ boards, such as the X-Prize Foundation and The Painted Turtle. He even worked on the founding of an organization, called Starbright World. Starbright World is an online network for children suffering from chronic health problems. This organization has helped many children in similar circumstances to connect with one another. As time goes on, his philanthropy and innovation will touch many more lives.
